My Background

I established Strategizer Consulting in August 2021 after a 25 year career in investment banking, commercial banking and as a senior executive for a large not-for-profit organisation. I have spent the past 15 years in the retirement living and aged care industry as an advisor, banker and senior executive.

Originally from Denmark, I began my career in investment banking specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions working in Copenhagen and later Sydney after moving here in 2000. I subsequently held senior relationship management roles in Corporate and Institutional Banking at ANZ including as head of ANZ’s NSW & QLD Corporate Healthcare business. In addition I had national responsibility for ANZ’s Retirement Living specialisation. In 2013 I joined IRT Group as Chief Strategy Officer with my responsibilities including the portfolios of Customer Service, Sales, Strategic Initiatives, Property Development and the IRT Research Foundation. In 2016, I became the Executive General Manager of the IRT Retirement Villages division. In this role, I was responsible for IRT’s Retirement Village business as well as Facilities Management, Property Development and Strategic Asset Management for the Group.

I hold a Masters degree in Finance & Accounting as well as a Bachelors degree in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
